GLC Celebrating all things Arts and Technology
Now in its second year, Geelong Lutheran College Armstrong Creek’s Arts & Technology Week continues to grow from strength to strength, with ever more student entries.
During the week-long competition, Secondary students can enter pieces in several categories, with the top three pieces in each category earning House points. This year, students could submit entries in Food Technology, Materials and Textiles Technology, Performing Arts (Dance & Music), and Art and Photography. The photography category was particularly popular this year, which was no surprise following the southern aurora displays over the region last month.
Entries in each category were displayed in the foyer of the campus’ gym, Dhurrung throughout the week for students to view and for judges to select 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. The week ended with a Year 7 Arts & Technology Day, where students rotated through a range of different arts and technology-related activities.
With so many creative and talented entries, we are looking for to the competition continuing to grow in the years ahead.
