Easter Camp 2024

LYV’s Easter Camp for young adults was a resounding success this year, with the theme “Easter @ Easter Camp” guiding us through the profound journey of the Easter story. Over the weekend we tackled each part of the Easter story, working our way through the grief and death of Good Friday, to the waiting of Easter Saturday and into the joy of Easter Sunday. This was a super valuable time for us to pause our busy lives and spend time in community together sharing our faith and focusing on the miracle of Easter.

Amidst worship and small group discussions, we also found time to forge new friendships and strengthen existing ones. We delved into creative pursuits with crafting sessions, indulged in friendly competition with board games and a city-wide scavenger hunt in Ballarat, and added a touch of mystery with a murder mystery. And of course, we didn’t forget to embrace our “child-like” spirits, engaging in countless spontaneous silly mini games that left us in stitches. As we reluctantly said goodbye to camp, we found ourselves already looking forward to Easter Camp 2025 at Araluen Lutheran Camp.
